Yearlings & Cria

Maybe I’m biased, but there are few things more heartwarmingly adorable than a young alpaca. These guys have some time to develop and mature, and often times weanlings get put into their own cohort to learn away from the adults who may not enjoy their pestering. This time also allows us the chance to see what they are maturing into, to decide just what kind of niches they might fit into as they age, whether they will become show and breeding stock, pets, companions, fibre animals, or whether they have what it takes to perform more complex tasks.
