Coming Soon

I am pleased to announce that Parhelion has been consigned to the 2023 Canadian National Alpaca Sale and Futurity Online Auction! If you're looking for a future stud prospect, he will be lot #2 in the sale and he could very easily be yours!

Nicely proportioned on a moderate frame, with solid bone structure and a lovely head, Parhelion holds a lot of promise as a future herdsire. He is displaying a well organized, high amplitude, medium frequency crimp style with a lovely, soft handle, and rich density. He is very uniform in style and coverage, from topknot to toes. He has a quiet, polite temperament without a mean bone in his body.

Parhelion's pedigree boasts the genetic legacy of several noted champion producers, with a mix of lines from North American and Australia, neatly wrapped in a package with a low IC at 0.4%. He is sired by BR Helios, a Greener Pastures Prince Charming grandson, in combination with Peruvian Bonanza and Bonito AOC through his paternal granddam, Monterra's Bellana. Parhelion is already displaying the excellent density and bone structure that run deep in his paternal lines. Paired with maternal lines that run deep with colour, you may also note the presence of animals including Purrembete Ledger's Dream, Pokemon Brew, PPPeruvian Auzengate via Peruvian Captain Nemo, Peruvian Hemingway and 4Peruvian Legacy.

Both of his parents were selected for their strengths in both uniformity and longevity of micron, and their density, with the hopes that this would lead to a long and productive fleece career in Parhelion's future.
