Form, Function, and
Art Imitating Life
Forget the Paint Art & Alpacas
Combining a passion for art and animals, Forget the Paint is a breeding program seeking to emphasize the balance between form and function by producing healthy, well rounded animals with stellar temperaments, solid conformation, and huggable fleece. The primary emphasis is in longevity amongst all these traits, with the program being guided by evidence based practices and scientific principles.
I am an active participant in the Alpaca Industry, with current memberships with the CLAA, AOA, Alpaca Canada, and A.L.P.A.C.A. I am not only passionate about the community and the people who support it, but also about the husbandry practices and wellbeing of the animals in our care. I am always happy to help answer any alpaca related questions a person might have-- or point a person in the direction of the person or resource that might know!
I was an artist before I became involved in the alpaca industry, and still enjoy combining my interest in art with my love of the animals. I am self taught and proficient in a variety of traditional and digital mediums. My focus has always been animals and nature, for which my art has won several awards, and I have produced work for individuals across the globe.
