This has been a highly anticipated breeding for some time now! The aim was to pair Genetta, who is dense, fine, and uniform, with incredible fleece architecture-- to Bocelli who is bright, uniform, long stapled and dense. Tycho hit the ground, and so far the handle on him is as close to silk as I have ever felt on an alpaca, with the brightness and organization to make things very exciting from a fleece production standpoint. This little guy so far is presenting as a silky, so I anticipate his fleece will develop further architecture like his older half-siblings over the next several months as it really comes into his own.
